Having provided legal services to the Mid Wales community for over 25 years Bill Flanagan had firmly established Flanagan & Jones’ reputation in Newtown and Llanidloes for the provision of professional and reliable legal services. 

 

The move sees Harrisons consolidate their position as one of the regions leading law firms and shows their commitment to local employment and the provision of high quality legal services to the people and businesses of Mid Wales and Shropshire. 

 

To ensure a smooth transition for Flanagan & Jones’ customers, Harrisons will retain the existing offices in Newtown and Llanidloes and continue to employ the staff of Flanagan and Jones. These include Solicitor Sian Davies, para-legal Matthew Bebb, Joyce Jenkins and Sian Flanagan. 

 

Bill Flanagan will continue working with Harrisons from the Llanidloes office. 

 

As well as securing the future employment of his staff Bill Flanagan believes that the sale of his business will have “significant benefits” for his clients who will have access to the depth of experience resources and specialist expertise that Harrisons as a larger firm can offer to individuals or businesses. 

 

Harrisons have provided highly personal and professional legal service in Mid Wales for almost 200 years from their offices in Welshpool. The move will enable the people and businesses of Mid-Wales to have improved access to the full range of legal expertise Harrisons can offer now from premises in Newtown and Llanidloes.
